Hello dear members,
Since I am building up the floor structure myself on the advice of my screed installer, I am now a bit overwhelmed regarding the recess for the front door.
Question:
1. Does the waterproof membrane need to be extended all the way to the front doorstep?
2. According to the screed installer, should the insulation extend 12 cm (5 inches) into the wall opening for the front door?
3. I am then supposed to finish this with a board. Should the edge strip also be applied there? How high should the board be?
Thank you very much in advance
