ᐅ Water softener system for 17.3 °dH hard water

Hi!

I just looked into the water hardness in our new area. It’s quite high at 17.3 °dH (degrees German hardness).

Without a water softener system, building a new house there does not seem advisable. What do you think?

What should I specifically consider for a 220 m² (2,370 sq ft) single-family home? An ion exchanger?

Grünbeck, BWT, and all the others... just install a system in the utility room on the main line and that’s it... or you live with the white spots... the investment is not insignificant...

In the current house, there is equipment worth about €2,000 that supplies two residential units.

You can expect similar dimensions in the new house as well...
