Hello,
We have planned an outdoor water connection on the garage. There is a threaded pipe protruding from the wall. Unfortunately, I don’t know the correct technical term, so I have no idea what keyword I should search for.
How can I connect a faucet here? The pipe sticks out quite far from the wall. I have already bought a faucet.
Thank you very much and best regards

I looked it up now, and there is a rod inside the pipe. But shouldn't the pipe be inside the wall? Or does it need to be shortened?

I found a video about this on YouTube. Thanks againN

Unfortunately, I don’t know if the preparation fits all manufacturers. I found a video tutorial and a manufacturer that offers products for the thread size. Thank you very much.
