what do you think about the idea of making flush skirting boards yourself? I would attach an aluminum L-profile (60x10x2 mm (2.4x0.4x0.08 inches)) as the bottom edge of the drywall, seal the top to the drywall with acrylic, and stick parquet or tiles into the resulting gap (about 5-6 cm (2-2.4 inches)) using silicone or construction adhesive.
It would probably look good if the 2 mm (0.08 inch) aluminum strip is visible between the drywall and the wood.
It should look something like this:
