ᐅ Wall Paint Peeling – Apartment in Antalya

Hello dear builders! I am completely at a loss about what to do with the walls in my ground-floor apartment in Antalya/TR. The problem: wherever there are exterior walls, there are strips of peeling paint inside up to approximately 150cm (5 feet) high, which continue to increase in size and number. Repainting does not help at all. Does anyone perhaps know this problem from other southern countries? I would be very grateful for any advice. I am attaching a photo. Best regards from Sonja.

I cannot open the photo, but I suspect rising damp in the external walls due to a missing horizontal damp proof course in the masonry. If that is the case, the problem can be resolved by injecting a paraffin-based solution.
