Hello everyone,

On our garden shed (uninsulated), we have a shed roof made of OSB boards, with a layer of roofing felt as weather protection on top.

Now we plan to install trapezoidal metal sheets as the final roofing layer.

Can I screw these metal sheets directly onto the wooden sheathing/roofing felt, or is ventilation required? Yes, condensation would certainly dry better with ventilation, but the roofing felt should provide decent protection for the roof.

I’ve read various opinions online, but I’m still not really sure what to make of it.

Has anyone here done this before? What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks for your help!
