Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of a manufacturer where the soft-close mechanism in the toilet seat can be replaced separately if it breaks?

We currently have a Keramag 4U flush toilet, where the soft-close mechanism has worn out after 3 years and is now unusable.

Unfortunately, the entire seat has to be replaced, which costs about 130€.

I read somewhere that there are manufacturers where the soft-close mechanism is a replaceable part.

I would be grateful for any tips.

Best regards

Although the quality might not be comparable to the €130 cover, we had a similar issue and chose the €20 option from Aldi. For €130, you could almost pay someone to close the cover for you.
