Hello, what can we do about the appearance shown in the picture? We applied a thick base coat of gypsum plaster with Pufas Grundierweis GP5. The finishing coat with Herbol RF was also applied thickly. The picture even shows a double finishing coat. Application was done with a roller. Does it need to be applied differently?
Narrow, white corridor with three recessed ceiling lights, window at the end and open access below.

It is hard to see in the picture, but it is clearly visible in person.

Laugh and hello! What is the question? Definitely not a better camera?

Yes, I will retake the photos tomorrow morning. The question is how we can achieve a uniform coat of paint. The walls have already been painted thickly three times but still appear patchy. It looks as if some areas have been painted and others have not.

You can't see it. Up to a certain extent, this is also normal with angled light incidence.

I can only share our solutions to the problem: First, live with it, and once settlement cracks have settled after a few years, hire a painter.

We have always been satisfied with our paint jobs. I’m afraid that in your own home, you become suddenly very critical. Especially our smooth ceilings look poorly painted. I promised myself never to paint again.
