Mohnblume10 Aug 2015 21:20Hello!
I'm really frustrated. My table is beautiful and matches perfectly with all the other furniture, but it wobbles terribly and the tabletop can rotate!
Tightening the screws firmly doesn't help at all, and the table is standing straight. Does anyone know this problem? It’s really frustrating because eating or similar activities on this wobbly table are very difficult.
Thank you

IKEA-Experte10 Aug 2015 21:47Hello, you might need to unscrew something else first to be able to tighten another nut. Check the manual.

Mohnblume10 Aug 2015 22:12Thank you for the quick response, but we assembled it exactly according to the instructions and now it won’t come apart because the lower screw just keeps spinning. The black part (the part that stands on the floor) moves 15cm (6 inches) in every direction, so it behaves like a turntable. It’s really frustrating. At this point, the table is ready to be thrown out...
I
IKEA-Experte11 Aug 2015 11:35I assume that the black pipe rotates. Therefore, the tabletop must be unscrewed first.

Mohnblume17 Aug 2015 22:45Well, that was quite a challenge!
We completely disassembled the entire table and reassembled it exactly according to the instructions. The result? It still wobbles and spins like those revolving tables at Chinese restaurants. Since we don’t want to keep swapping our food around all the time, we kept thinking and finally figured out the solution. The black panel absolutely has to be secured with the stoppers! This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the instructions. Hopefully, anyone who owns this table knows what I mean!
It’s not as stable as a table with four legs (which is pretty obvious), but this way it works!
Thanks to the Ikea expert for your tips!

Thanks to the IKEA expert for your tips!We had a similar experience... no matter how long it took us to figure out the cause. Next time, I’ll just stick precisely to the instructions and not assume, “oh well, it’ll probably be fine.”
