ᐅ Temperature Control on Shower Valve

I have a problem with my shower thermostat. It only allows me to set two temperatures: completely cold or the temperature of my hot water tank. Nothing in between at all. Can anyone help me?

this sounds like a mechanical fault in the water mixing valve.

More precise information can most likely only be provided by a plumbing specialist on site, or possibly by the manufacturer’s helpline if you describe the type of fixture and the issue.

A reliable remote diagnosis via the internet is almost impossible.
