Hello,

I don’t understand what you mean by "collar" regarding the fittings.
What type of hot water system do you have?
Do you have a solar system for hot water production?
Have you installed a mixing or anti-scald valve?

Please provide more information about the system.

Regards, ALMI

Hello everyone,

Since my skills in remote diagnostics come to an end here and Mr. Schmidt is so fixated on the backflow preventers, this seems to be a known issue with the fitting manufacturer.

I am curious about the cause.

Best regards, ALMI

Hello Katharina,

We are experiencing the same problem you described!
We also have a new bathroom with fittings from Hans Grohe, including the Raindance overhead shower and hand shower.
In our case, the temperature drops from hot to about 35°C (95°F) after around 15 seconds.
Have you maybe found a solution or has anyone been able to help you?
Showering is no longer enjoyable for us either, and our heating technician has left us hanging.
We look forward to your quick response!

Regards,
Tina
