Hello,

I need a 220cm (87 inches) tall cabinet with a depth of 37cm (15 inches) and a width of 40cm (16 inches) to place in front of an existing post. Unfortunately, I can’t fit a 60cm (24 inches) wide cabinet.

However, the standard cabinets are only available in 200cm (79 inches) height, while the other tall cabinets next to it are 220cm (87 inches). I was thinking of assembling one from:

2 x 80cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinets (40 x 80 x 37cm / 16 x 31.5 x 15 inches)
1 x 60cm (24 inches) wall cabinet (40 x 60 x 37cm / 16 x 24 x 15 inches)

For the doors, I’m considering either:
1 x 200cm (79 inches) door with a 20cm (8 inches) drawer front above it, using Utrustra hinges for horizontal cabinets (this is how I covered a 20cm (8 inches) leftover space in our kitchen)

or
1 x 140cm (55 inches) front (normally intended for horizontal wall cabinets)
1 x 80cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinet front

Question:
Do the 140cm (55 inches) fronts also have the pre-drilled holes for hinges/cup hinges?

Or you can reduce the 220 x 40 x 60 in depth. If you are unable to do such work yourself, having it done should not be very expensive.

I have also thought about shortening it, maybe I will revise the plan a bit and make the tall cabinet unit 240cm (94 inches) high – with a room height of about 260cm (102 inches), it would fit.
