Good morning everyone,

In the next few days, I plan to complete the garage slab. The subsoil consists of clayey soil, with about 30-40cm (12-16 inches) of compacted recycled material on top. Would 10cm (4 inches) of well-compacted crushed stone be sufficient, followed by approximately 20cm (8 inches) of concrete?

Best regards

What type of garage is it? A precast garage usually comes with a foundation recommendation.
We have a strip footing on the two short sides, which goes 80cm (31.5 inches) deep. (80cm (31.5 inches) depth is always due to frost protection)

Maybe someone with more detailed knowledge will chime in here!?!

Regards, Yvonne
