In construction projects, for example, a freshly poured concrete ceiling is often loaded or built upon as early as the next day.

Is this not harmful to the concrete that has not yet fully cured?

Usually, the freshly cast concrete slab is supported by numerous props for several days or weeks. When constructing the floor above, the exterior walls and load-bearing interior walls are generally aligned directly above the corresponding walls below. This means the load on the fresh concrete slab is relatively low. Overall, the risk of deflection is, in my opinion, minimal.

Of course, there is a structural engineer who monitors this situation (or should).
