Hello everyone
As the move is approaching, I’m currently thinking about how to store two sets of car tires (a total of 8 pieces).

How have you handled this?

I would prefer some kind of wall storage.

It’s a reinforced concrete garage, so that should be easily possible...

The neighbor has a garage from the Bayreuth manufacturer. A maximum of 3cm (1¼ inches) is allowed, with a drill depth stop, and 4 holes were slowly drilled with a hammer function. Result: two chips on the outside, very unsightly.

Attach it on a side where you won’t get annoyed by such craters on the exterior wall every time.

And use metal expansion anchors.

Okay! I honestly hadn't thought of that!

Thank you very much for pointing it out!

Ah yes, the beloved prefabricated garages

If you want to attach something to it, I would consider an underlying structure to distribute the load.

Wheel rack in the corner, with casters, so it can be moved if it’s in the way. Or the classic option: stacked like a tower.

And check out good all-season tires like the Michelin CrossClimate+, which outperform every winter tire in winters like this... but in winters like in the past, even the best winter tires can’t save you from danger on snow and ice if you’re revving 300 horsepower aggressively.

However, they are at most average in summer. Changing tires is also enjoyable, and with the corresponding mileage, you don’t save anything with all-season tires, as the wear is higher in summer.

I won’t get into a discussion about all-season tires here anyway. You don’t use those if you want to drive your car a bit more spiritedly...
