ᐅ Stihl shrub and grass shear

So far, I have been using a brush cutter along the edges of the terraces and flower beds. Unfortunately, the cuttings scatter everywhere. Cleaning up the cuttings behind the garden shed is especially annoying. Between bushes and around flowers bordering the lawn, I have been using manual shears.

I tried a cheap grass shear borrowed from a neighbor, but it wasn’t suitable for my large area and tended to tear and crush the grass rather than cut it cleanly. Gardena didn’t convince me either.

Now I have come across the Stihl shrub and grass shear. Unfortunately, it’s not exactly cheap, and the online reviews are quite mixed. A common critique is that the grass shear is no better than competing models.

Does anyone here use this shear and can offer some advice?

Does no one have experience with this? 🙁
