ᐅ Stainless Steel vs. Masonry Chimneys

Hello everyone

I am currently planning a build.
I am now facing the decision between:
a Swedish stove with a stainless steel chimney that would run along the exterior wall of the house,
or a masonry chimney with a fireplace insert.

Could you please share the advantages and disadvantages of both,
and I am also interested in the price difference between the two.

I would then adjust the location, which I have full control over.

My main concern is the purchase price (approximately) of both options.
