Hello everyone,
do you have any experience with joint filling on precast concrete slabs? A friend said he wouldn’t do it because cracks tend to appear sooner or later. Instead, he had fleece laid over the entire surface. So, first just roughly filled and sanded, and then a fleece applied over the whole ceiling.
What experiences have you had with this?
Please let us know.
Best regards

I’m not sure what different manufacturers call it.
I know and like Haering textured paint in 1mm (0.04 inches). I found the 2mm (0.08 inches) version harder to apply evenly on the ceiling as an amateur. But this type of product is definitely available from other manufacturers, or you can make it yourself if you want, simply by mixing in quartz sand. I think Haering calls theirs Silicate Deco Quartz.
