MatschgoHi,
I urgently need the exact internal dimensions of the Besta single storage compartment, measured down to the millimeter.
The exact internal height is especially important, as shown here:

But really only for the single storage compartment... I do have the 120cm x 120cm (47 inches x 47 inches) and 192cm x 60cm (76 inches x 24 inches) Besta units at home, but I still need a single compartment for a statue and require the EXACT measurements because the space will be very tight.
Thanks in advance

Hmm...
I’d like to save myself the trip to Ikea for measuring.
If the two-compartment shelf is 380mm (15 inches) high, the interior height should be: 380mm (15 inches) - (2 x 25mm (1 inch) for top and bottom panels) - 10mm (0.4 inch) for the base = 320mm (12.6 inches), which means 160mm (6.3 inches) per compartment.
However, the three-compartment shelf would then have an exterior height of: 3 x 160mm (6.3 inches) + 50mm (2 inches) + 10mm (0.4 inch) = 540mm (21.3 inches), not 640mm (25.2 inches) as stated in the catalog.
Is there an error in the catalog, or are the individual compartments actually taller?
The reason I ask is that 320mm (12.6 inches) interior height feels a bit tight for me, but I can’t fit 640mm (25.2 inches) under the sloped ceiling.
Many thanks
