How can the pre-drilled holes in the carcasses be sealed? Are there special white rubber plugs for this?

The holes have never bothered me, but instead of using those plug things, I would rather take the time to tape it all over the surface. However, you should make sure that the foil is not too thin, otherwise, the holes will still be visible.

The problem with the holes is that moths like to settle in the wood and build their nests there, especially in the bedroom and kitchen.

We sealed the holes because of moths with simple adhesive tape in all the cabinets from Ikea. You can only see it if you look directly, and with a knife or something sharp, you can easily replace the pins when adjusting the shelves. The costs are also reasonable.
