At our site, the scaffolding has now been closed off. As you can see from the trench, the utility lines were supposed to be installed three weeks ago. At that time, the site management was already informed that the scaffolding needed to be rearranged, but nothing has been done. Now the occupational safety authority has stepped in. Does anyone know what consequences this might have?

Not just the trench – that is standing partly on a few stones, right?

Which came first, the scaffolding or the utility excavation?

The scaffolding was there first, but it had been announced in advance and marked to show where the pipes would go in.

The civil engineering team should have raised concerns beforehand instead of just digging a hole and seeing what would happen.

I believe the person who did the digging should not have been allowed to dig there.

Who carried out the excavation? Was it a professional company?
