who has experience ordering sanitary fittings such as washbasins, etc., online?
I just received an offer from a specialist sanitary retailer and have now realized that, for example, the same faucet is significantly cheaper on the internet...

Mirakulix8 Jun 2008 20:53Hello home building planners,
I also faced this decision during the renovation of our house. However, I bought all the sanitary fixtures from a specialist retailer. The reason is quite simple: What happens if something breaks? This way, I can just take the item directly to the retailer and get a replacement immediately. Ordering online probably wouldn’t be that straightforward.

Hello,
I completely agree with Mirakulix. Imagine your showerhead is broken – you have to send it in and probably wait a while for a replacement. When buying at a specialist store or hardware store, you will likely get it replaced immediately. For me, the extra cost would definitely be worth it.
Best regards,
Tom

Hello,
I also believe it is better to buy plumbing supplies from a specialist store. If something breaks, you can make a claim and receive a replacement part. When ordering online, if something is damaged, you will need to return everything, and there is no guarantee you will get a replacement.
