ᐅ Trellises for climbing roses on or near the exterior walls of the house?

PinkiponkSome of you may already know our house, which was built and completed in 2022. We are now gradually starting to plan the garden and the outdoor areas. For now, we are just considering options before making any final decisions.
Since I find the exterior of the house a bit, let’s say, "plain," and I like a romantic touch, I would like to install trellises or other types of supports for climbing plants on or in front of the rear walls facing the garden (and possibly in the medium term also on the front facing the street). What do you think about this? Do you have photos of your own or other successful setups? What are the advantages and disadvantages, and what should be taken into account? The originally planned path around the house, about 80-100cm (31-39 inches) wide, would be interrupted where the trellises are to be installed. Does anyone have experience with this and would recommend or advise against it?
A neighbor of our previous house had a rose garden almost directly on the property boundary next to us, and I immensely enjoyed inhaling the scent of her roses in the evenings.
