You have to reconcile that with your own conscience.
Only you can decide how much the damage is worth to you, or what you are willing to accept in order to overlook the damage.

I just wanted to know the price range involved. But instead of leaving a helpful comment, something like this appears. So why respond if you have nothing to contribute on the topic? That’s unacceptable...

Then just tell your site manager that you want 700 (currency). She will probably smile wearily, shake her head, and generously offer you 120 (currency). Don’t expect to get anything for free.
You can’t say anything wrong anyway—either your demand is too low, and she will agree, or it’s exaggeratedly high, and she will let you know the maximum you can get.
