ᐅ Replacing Old Bathroom Fixtures

Our bathroom has old Grohe fixtures that have seen better days. I would like to replace them, but I’m not sure if it’s that simple. Is it necessary to open the wall and replace the mixing valve, or can everything be done from the outside? These are older Grohe single-lever mixers, and I would prefer not to tear open the wall because I don’t have matching tiles anymore.
