Hello, home building community,

Help – who can guide us through this jungle? Today we visited three different kitchen showrooms and saw kitchens ranging from 2,300 euros to 26,000 euros. Now we are wondering what justifies such price differences. Part of it, of course, will be the appliances – their number, quality, and brand. But is there also a way to find out which cabinet carcasses are good if you’re not exactly a hinge specialist? And since every kitchen manufacturer claims to be the best for different reasons in their brochures...?

Can someone give me a kind of ranking of kitchen manufacturers, something like: the Rolls-Royce of kitchens is..., the Mercedes..., the VW..., the Seat... and more specifically, where do Nolte, Nobilia, Burger Küchen stand? Who offers a good price-performance ratio? Or are there other manufacturers that are more recommendable?

And is there something similar for the built-in appliances?

With the overwhelming number of kitchen studios, suppliers, and offers, we really don’t even know where or how to start our selection process.
