Hello everyone,
Since I plan to build in the next 1 to 2 years, I have been browsing the internet a bit for related topics.
The latest innovation in 3D printing caught my attention. Somehow, I find the idea of having a single-family house 3D printed quite interesting.
Has anyone here in the forum already thought about this topic or perhaps even gained some experience?
I assume it is probably not yet possible for private individuals, right?
Best regards

The report from BR (yt: Neue Bautechnik: Wohnhaus aus dem 3-D-Drucker) explains it quite well: it’s about creating special shapes and experimenting with alternative building materials. And about saving time. For a typical single-family house, traditional concrete pouring with formwork will probably still be preferred for cost reasons – a difference of a few days usually doesn’t matter. Similar to “classic” 3-D printing, there are certainly special applications where this makes sense. But even in those cases, prototypes are printed that are not intended for everyday use. Or has anyone ever seen a mass-produced product from a 3-D printer in a store?
