Advantages of aluminum cladding:

• Less prone to scratches and minor damage.
• We did not want patterned foil (appearance); we were advised against plain foil due to its sensitivity.
• Subjectively better appearance.
• Color tone and surface match our front door and garage door perfectly.

Disadvantages of aluminum cladding:

• Cost.

Thank you for the response. At my window manufacturer, the aluminum claddings are available in a wide range of RAL colors, as they are powder coated.
