since we received a very good offer for a galvanized sheet metal garage, I would like to know if I can simply plaster it myself afterwards?

At the very least, you will need to remove the word "simple." Applying plaster over metal sheets without mesh reinforcement will not result in durability. Additionally, you will only be able to use a limited range of plasters, as metal is not an ideal base material. The sheets are galvanized to provide a finished, durable protective layer. There are textured coatings available in a variety of colors, allowing the garage to match the house while retaining the ribbed profile.

Attractive prices for metal garages often reflect cheap construction methods. An uninsulated metal garage is like a dripping cave.
