Hello User,
I have noticed the following on our house:
At the finished plastered windows, there is a small white rubber strip lying vertically on the window frame.
This strip has now torn in several places on some of the windows...
Is this already considered a major defect? Keyword: protection against rain/driving rain/water?
Or is this still acceptable?
I will upload photos.
Best regards and have a nice Friday to you all

I haven’t seen the contractor all week. How should this be fixed? Silicone sealant?
I received a reply from the manufacturer of the plaster trim (whether you can trust that or not...): It is not visually acceptable, and such interruptions should be avoided, or if necessary, only in the upper area.
However, the seal is ensured by the adhesive strip on the underside; the lip is mostly for appearance. (just in case anyone notices this on their house)
Best regards
