Hello everyone!
I wanted to ask which potato varieties you like to plant. We usually grow the same red-skinned Rosella with yellow flesh every year. We are really enthusiastic about this variety. It is waxy and, above all, very flavorful. Plus, it is versatile in cooking. Last year, we also tried Blue Congo as an experiment. Unfortunately, it was no good because it fell apart after just 10 minutes of boiling. Cooking time — whether salted or as boiled potatoes — it turned into a complete mush in the pot. Besides that, it’s hard to spot when digging it up because the tubers are almost black 🙄. We have also grown Bamberger Hörnchen, which are very tasty. Well, and of course the good old Linda.
Best regards,
Shey
