we have purchased a timber frame prefabricated house, built in 2000. The original planning documents have been lost or are no longer available for reasons that are not relevant here.
What we obtained from the building authorities are the cross-section and elevation drawings used for the planning permission / building permit. What we are missing and need, however, are detailed plans for the wall construction, especially showing the position of the studs.
Therefore, my question: Does anyone in this forum live in a Bien house / Bien-Zenker house from around 1999 to 2001 and could possibly share a plan for a standard exterior wall? I assume that this was not newly designed every time.
We have already contacted Bien-Zenker, but apparently they only keep plans for 10 years.
