ᐅ Pink grains in the garden—does anyone know what they are?

Today, I found quite a few of these grains.
They look very pretty, pearl pink in color.

They seem to come from some kind of plant, but which one? I also wonder if they could perhaps come from horse manure—maybe some type of grain the horses have eaten?
However, they are scattered around, not just near the manure or a specific plant or shrub.

I look forward to your feedback!

Thanks, Axel!
Then Airea, further up, was right.
I also knew the article you quoted; it was among the top results for 'pink grains'.
Unbelievable how birds’ digestive systems can make seeds look so attractive.

It’s incredible how bird intestines can enhance the appearance of seeds

That’s nothing compared to wild cat intestines making coffee delicious (see Kopi Luwak).

Fortunately, no one has the idea to cage such birds just to 'harvest' pretty seeds...
