Hello,

Are there any systems where I can combine perimeter insulation with a brick veneer facade? My construction company says that the bricks can only be installed on the strip foundation. However, insulation is planned under the slab and on the outside of the strip foundation. Unfortunately, with this construction method, no insulation can be installed beneath the strip foundation. Do you have any ideas on how to combine brick veneer with continuous perimeter insulation?

Thank you and happy Easter.

...I would prefer cross-sectional drawings showing the structure of perimeter insulation with a brick veneer facade. To me, perimeter insulation means full-surface insulation beneath the slab. According to my planner, this is not possible because the brick veneer cannot be placed on the insulation. Does anyone have cross-sectional drawings showing the construction details?

Ask your planner about this, since that is what they are paid for!

Best regards.

Hello,

to complete the topic, I am sharing a few cross-sectional drawings. This is how I imagined it. It’s a pity that no help was provided here. Hopefully, it will work out next time.

Best regards, Fabian
