Hello everyone, I need some help.
Our neighbor has access to groundwater, and we can also use this water. Currently, there is a tap with two faucets; one faucet has our garden hose connected, which runs across the lawn to our property. Now we want to bury the whole setup underground. I’m not sure how a regular garden hose would hold up underground, so I’m thinking of using a PE HD pipe. We have a water tap in our garden where the garden hose is connected at the bottom, all using standard hose connectors.

How can I connect the PE pipe to the groundwater tap, and how can I connect the PE pipe to the water tap in our garden? Are there hose connectors available for PE pipe, or how should this be done?

Just go to the nearest hardware store and have a look around. For example, there are PE fittings with external threads, onto which you can then screw the "connection nipple" for, for example, garden hose connectors.

Or you lay a 1kg (2.2 lbs) pipe in the ground and pull the hose through it; then, if it ever breaks, you can pull out the hose and push a new one through.

@meister keks also a good idea, but we have now installed a 25mm (1 inch) PE pipe; if it ever breaks, I will put a 3/4" hose inside.
