Julzacher2 Feb 2025 11:18Hello,
We are planning the entrance for our single-family home (completion planned for August/September), which leads from the street along the front of the house to the front door. The path is closed off with a gate to the street, making the area private and for pedestrian use only. We are still considering whether we might occasionally park a car there in an emergency.
The total area of the path is about 45 sqm (480 sq ft). I would like to get an idea of what kind of work might be involved, who would be responsible, and roughly what the costs could be. We are still at a very early stage, so I cannot give specific details about materials yet (ideas are welcome).
For reference, I have attached an image from a local stone supplier. Since we are building in the greater Cologne area, I would also appreciate tips on whether it might be better to source materials (stones, etc.) from nearby countries such as the Netherlands or Belgium.
Thank you!
