ᐅ Partition strip extension without cross strip

Hello everyone,

I want to divide my 40cm (16 inches) drawers with dividers, one of them only lengthwise, so one or two long dividers alone without a cross divider. Is that possible? I just want to separate soup and sauce spoons from, for example, a roasting spatula (or whatever it's called).

Will the long dividers hold on their own?
