Hello everyone!

I have been a silent observer of this forum for some time, and during my current house construction project, I have already been able to make use of some of your advice and tips. Thank you very much for that! Great community.

Now the shell (prefabricated house) is complete, and there are still some tasks to do myself. The walls are made of Fermacell boards, which I have mostly skim-coated. It is important to note that I have only skim-coated the joints and the nails or staples. My plan is to cover the walls with smooth painter’s fleece wallpaper and then paint them white. My questions are as follows:

Can I apply the painter’s fleece wallpaper directly onto the Fermacell boards, even though they are not fully skim-coated?

If yes, which painter’s fleece do you recommend? 130g or 150g? I have noticed the Variovlies from Erfurt. There are different types, specifically the Variovlies Flat with 150g and the Variovlies Brilliant with 130g. Would either be suitable for my project, or am I completely mistaken?

Interior under construction: skim-coated drywall, a ladder on the left, green protective foil on the floor.
