ᐅ Old Barn – Salts and Efflorescence in the Masonry

Hello, we have purchased a former farmhouse built in 1933. Attached is a photo of the barn. There appears to be nitrate salt efflorescence in the masonry. What is the best way to proceed if I want to replaster the exterior facade? Thanks in advance.
