Hello everyone,

I have a new floor-mounted toilet, and it wobbles on my tiles.
Does anyone have experience with whether this is normal for a new Dura... toilet?

Somehow, I don’t want to have to level it out with an adhesive compound like Fermit... I feel uneasy about that.
I am not a plumber, so I have no experience with this.

Kind regards,
Gerd

Just place the entire toilet on a thin rubber mat (hardware store or plumbing supply), then carefully trim it around the edges, seal all around with silicone, and you’re done. No one will see it 🙂

I still have a red rubber mat (Wineo silentComfort impact sound insulation) leftover from installing laminate flooring...

Is it a bad idea to trim the excess with an angle grinder?

First, yes, you can do that; second, yes, it’s a very bad idea.
