Hello,

I am currently renovating our basement bathroom, which needs to be completely redone due to water damage.
Right now, I am having a problem with the shower.
I would like to install a walk-in (level-entry) shower, but I am unsure about the dimensions and the waste pipe connection, and I hope someone can help me.

If I remove the screed, I have about 58 to 60 mm (2.3 to 2.4 inches) up to the top edge of the screed.
Is that enough for a level-entry shower?
Additionally, the waste pipe connection is probably too high; is it possible to modify it?
I have attached a few pictures for clarification.

I would be very grateful for any information.

Hello

I’m not an expert in fire protection, but this is definitely incorrect.

Fire safety requirements for wastewater pipes do not depend solely on the material but primarily on the building itself.
