ronnystritzke12 Dec 2014 15:37Hello, I have a plot of land with a small existing house on it (16m² (172 sq ft)). The newly planned house with a garage will be built adjacent to and in front of this. The main power line currently runs into the old house, and the new building will be located in front of and beside it.
I received a trench plan for my property from the utility company and noticed that the power line runs exactly where the new building is planned to be constructed.
Is it allowed to build over the power line? What about the strip foundation if the power line runs underneath it? Unfortunately, I was not able to reach the utility company today...
Best regards,
Ronny
