ᐅ Graph Paper App for Floor Plan Drawing

Hello,

does anyone know an app where you can draw on graph paper with millimeter squares? Preferably with a tool for straight lines and so on...

I would like to first sketch my floor plans on "paper" before transferring them to the common software programs that offer all kinds of views.

And why not on real paper? I "hate" real paper^^ and I’m too messy for a pile of actual paper.

SweetHome draws on millimeter paper.
If you are doing it on the computer anyway, why do it twice?

Sketches have to be drawn freehand; otherwise, it won’t work.

Because in some planning thread, it was suggested to start on millimeter paper before moving on to other planning tools and 3D views...

I also work almost completely paperless at the office... I just find handwritten or drawn plans messy and untidy

However, "graph paper" was meant as a synonym for "analog drawing," meaning on physical paper. This suggestion would be completely misunderstood if you then used a "graph paper app." The recommendation was not about overlaying pixels with orange grid lines. Rather, the message is: "dare to sketch" or "practice imperfectly in real life before switching to virtually perfect."
