Hello,
Some time ago, we had a tradesperson on site who removed the climbing vines from the calcium silicate brick facade of our house. Unfortunately, a wet sandblaster was used during the process, which visibly roughened the surface of the calcium silicate bricks. My question is whether this can be left as is, or if applying a protective impregnating layer is now necessary to prevent moisture from penetrating the masonry?
I have attached a picture.
Thank you very much!
Best regards, Andreas
