we will have LED spotlights installed in the bathroom, especially above the shower. The electrician will be fitting them soon.
Our painter was concerned that too much moisture might rise above and mentioned that there are special waterproofing measures or “sealed” spotlights. He wasn’t sure about the details.
By “above” I mean: drywall panels where the spotlights will be installed, then a small cavity with battens, and then a vapor barrier.
Is there anything specific we should pay attention to? Are there such special waterproofing products? I’m not confident that our electricians will consider this much, other than maybe installing waterproof spotlights.
