Hello,
quick question: There are porcelain stoneware tiles available in 3cm (1.2 inches) thickness. Can these be installed directly on gravel without any issues? I was advised against this with 2cm (0.8 inches) tiles, but I would prefer to avoid using pedestal supports.
Thanks

There are porcelain stoneware tiles that have a concrete backing (e.g., from Geoceramica or Kann).

Best regards,

@Corini1985 Are there any new updates?

Basically, it is possible. However, it largely depends on the format.
