Last autumn, after the heating system was turned on for the first time, the laminate flooring in my living room lifted slightly in one spot. It was fine throughout the entire summer.
After some research, it became clear that the expansion gap was too narrow. I removed the baseboard, trimmed the outermost plank slightly – after that, the warping settled within two days.
