Hello!
We own a semi-detached house that is currently under construction. We want to meet the KfW 70 standards.
According to our architect, single-glazed windows in the basement are standard, so we as the builders would have to cover the extra costs for double- or even triple-glazed windows ourselves.
Now I would like to know what the requirements are for the basement windows. Do they not have to be double- or triple-glazed to meet KfW 70?
Best regards

Thanks for all the responses! I never expected to get so many—I’m new here.
Sorry for my late reply.
@ypg: Yes, the developer! In our case, they represent the architect, structural engineer, and everything else. We are now trying to take over the site management ourselves. But the contract has been signed for over a year, so we are stuck with their “slow” (forgive the expression) way of working. A legal process would only drag things out further. So, we have no leverage to push things forward.
@Elina: At least double glazing. Our developer might try to cut costs at our expense.
I’ve taken out my energy certificate. Unfortunately, the data about the basement doesn’t tell me much. I’ll attach the page here. Can you make anything of it?

Developer, yes! In our case, they handle the architect, structural engineer, and everything together.

By now, we are trying to take over the construction management ourselves. But the contract was signed more than a year ago, and now we are stuck with their "slow" (forgive the expression) way of working. A lawsuit would probably only prolong the process. So we have no leverage to help us move forward.
