ᐅ Kettalit Dining Table by Kettler

We purchased a garden table from Kettler with a Kettalit top. There is a seam on the side/underneath. The seller says this is due to the manufacturing process, but I’m concerned that these areas might absorb moisture too quickly. Does anyone have the same table top with a seam or without one, or any knowledge about this topic? Thank you in advance for your help.
