Hello,
We found a spot on our wall where the paint has bubbled up. I removed some of it. At first glance, I don’t see anything else, but the wall does have a slight musty smell in that area. About a year and a half ago, we had water damage here. A company dried it out and then repainted the surface. Back then, there were clearly visible water stains on the wall, which are no longer present. Could this be residual moisture? Or is water possibly still seeping through, but in much smaller amounts? Or is there already mold inside causing this? Sorry for all the questions—I’m not an expert. Should this room be left unoccupied for now?

The old holes from the previous baseboard from a year ago were apparently filled with silicone or something similar... There is mold on all these spots. The mold came off with alcohol, but should I remove some of the plaster here just to be sure, or is the alcohol enough to prevent it from coming back? Or should I remove all the silicone? Thanks in advance for your answers!
